A community organisation could be set up in Sandbach to help voluntary

organisations and others to gather support and grow.

More than 30 people attended an open meeting chaired by Sandbach Co-op

Member Pioneer, Arnie Laing, at Sandbach RUFC in Bradwall Road.

Various subjects were discussed, including locating a Tourist Information Centre

for the town to help boost tourism and further put the town on the map.

Arnie said: "It was decided that Community Group meetings have value to offer in

Sandbach at this time if inclusive and transparent whilst working with the widest

cross section of local organisations, groups, elected councillors and residents of

Sandbach.

"We'll potentially be meeting again on the third Monday night of the month at

7.30pm in the Sandbach Rugby Club."

The next meeting is planned for Monday, 20th June.
