We are seeking an ambitious and driven Recruitment Consultant to join our growing technical recruitment team. You will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and placing highly skilled engineering and technical professionals into permanent and contract positions across international markets.This is a relationship-focused role requiring excellent communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple recruitment projects while delivering an exceptional experience for both clients and candidates.
Key Responsibilities• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy qualification through to candidate placement.
• Build and develop long-term relationships with new and existing clients across the engineering and technical sectors.• Source high-quality candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, referrals, database searches, and direct headhunting techniques.
• Screen, interview, and assess candidates against technical and behavioural requirements.• Coordinate interviews, manage candidate feedback, negotiate offers, and oversee onboarding.
• Develop a strong understanding of engineering disciplines, market trends, salary benchmarking, and competitor activity.• Meet and exceed individual and team sales, placement, and lead targets.
• Maintain accurate records within the CRM systems and ensure compliance with recruitment legislation and company processes.• Represent the business professionally at industry events, career fairs, and client meetings where required.
• Work collaboratively with international colleagues and partners to support global recruitment campaigns.Skills & Experience:
Essential• Previous experience in recruitment, sales, business development, or account management.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.• Commercial mindset with a proven ability to achieve targets and KPIs.
• Highly organised with excellent time management skills.• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Confident using recruitment databases, CRM systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Microsoft Office.Desirable
• Recruitment experience within engineering, manufacturing, energy, construction, aerospace, automotive, or technical industries.• Experience recruiting across international markets.
