It's Sandbach Transport Festival this weekend and vehicles are on everyone's minds.

This summer is one for the motorists! With two action packed motoring events heading to Sandbach this summer plus plenty being held nearby.

Motoring experts Swansway Motor Group created a list of the best motoring events with half an hour of Sandbach this summer.

From trucks, to bikes, and of course cars there is something for all petrol heads.

1. The first event on this list is in the heart of Sandbach. Sandbach Transport Festival returns on the 20th and 21st of April for 2024. With live music all weekend, family-friendly entertainment, and a stunning array of classic cars, trucks, planes and more the Sandbach Transport Festival is a great way to support the town.

2. Next up on our list is another event just on the doorstep. Smallwood Vintage Rally takes place on May Bank Holiday Weekend (25th to 27th of May) for three days packed with entertainment. With a host of military, commercial, and logistical vehicles, plus retro campervans there's plenty for the motoring enthusiast to feast their eyes on. The tractor-pulling competition always draws the crowds, who stick around for the nightly beer tent which hosts live music and DJs. This year Big Pete and The Grim Reaper are headlining Sunday and Monday with their Monster Truck Carcrushing performance.

3. Tatton Park in Knutsford host this year's Classic and Performance car spectacular on the 1st and 2 nd of June 2024. Over 2000 classic cars can be viewed on site with 90 car clubs present as well as private exhibitors. If you've got your eye on a classic car, buying and selling is an option through the famous classic car autojumble.

4. Staying in Knutsford, Truckfest Northwest takes place at the Cheshire Showground. The event which was first held in 1983 boasts Monster Trucks arena stunts and celebrity guests. Add this to children's activities and rides and you have a great family day out. The event runs from the 14- 15th of September with day and camping tickets available. If the monster trucks get you in the mood for offroad experiences, why not check out Swansway's extensive line up of used SUV's.

5. The final events on this list are the two events taking place at Gawsworth Hall. The first offering at the Tudor Manor House is the Classic Car Show on the 6th of May. In a celebration of pre-1980 cars expect to see Bentleys, Bugattis, and bangers! Later in May (Monday 27th) the Young Timer Car Show takes place. This time, post-1970s cars and motorbikes take centre stage with recent highlights including a Ferrari F40.

These five are some highlights of many marvellous motoring meets taking place this summer across the country. To find out about some of the biggest in the country boasting some of the most expensive cars on the planet, check out the Swansway blog.
