Owners of a mobile artisan coffee shop in Sandbach Park launched during COVID brewed up such a success that they have spilled over into new premises.

Blackwater & Grubb has become a regular destination for visitors to Sandbach Park since it was launched over a year ago.

The popular spot, serving delicious artisan coffee, tea, biscuits and cakes and snacks has such a following that Peter and his wife Mandy decided to take their recipe for success further.

Today (Monday) the Evans family officially opened the House on Congleton Road opposite The Commons to offer an alternative venue for their customers.

Peter said: "There's a saying that when it rains customers dissolve quicker than sugar and we wanted to offer something for our customers when the weather isn't so kind.

"This business has been bourne out of Covid and we couldn't happier. It's thanks to our loyal customers that we have been able to do this and we're delighted.

"It's as much about our customers as it is about us because it's thanks to them that we have taken this move and opened The House.

"We want people to feel comfortable and we will give them the same welcome as if they were coming into our home."

The Evans family spent 10 weeks refurbishing the former Peppers coffee shop to give it the Blackwater & Grubb style.

And coffee lovers in Sandbach Park need not worry because Blackwater & Grubb will still be serving their delicious coffee and refreshments in the park too.
