Sandbach Nub News has joined forces with a regular reader to share a 'Cocktail of the Week' feature.

This week, Josh is bringing you a refreshing and fruity punch, the Fruity Festive Punch. Don't let the passionfruit deceive you, this packs a seriously festive punch!

It includes fruit juices like a classic party punch, but some festive favourites you see in Christmas cocktails and mulled wine and cider - we said it packs a 'punch'.

Find out how to blow some socks (and stockings) off this Christmas...

Ingredients:

  • 25ml cranberry juice
  • 25ml orange juice
  • 25ml spiced rum
  • 25ml amaretto
  • 25ml wine (red, white or rosé - whichever you prefer!)
  • splash of angostura bitters

Method:

  1. add all of your ingredients to a shaker with ice
  2. shake until chilled
  3. strain into a tumbler - add ice if it is too strong for you
  4. garnish with a passionfruit (or pomegranate, for cheery Christmas vibes!

Enjoy!

Check back next week for another Cocktail of the Week, shared each Friday to get the weekend going.

Share your own feature by clicking the 'Nub It' button at the top of the News page.
