A bird's eye view of nature - how snappers captured the stunning world of birds of prey

As they say, every picture tells a story and the photograph above speaks for itself and needs no introduction.

It was taken when Sandbach professional photographer, Kevin Dowey, passed on some of his tips during a Birds of Prey workshop.

The talented lensman held a one day event at Glebe Farm, Astbury and the results are astounding.

A group of keen photographers enjoyed static images in a studio in the morning with owls, buzzards and then after lunch they enjoyed some 'in flight' photos.

A falconer was on hand to help with the event and I am sure you will agree the results are amazing.
