A Sandbach church to celebrate its 150th anniversary with special service and afternoon tea
A Sandbach church is getting ready to celebrate an important anniversary – 150 years of worship.
New Horizons in Wheelock used to be Wheelock Methodist Church but merged with a group of other churches to form Unity Methodist Church in 2020.
The Methodist Church opened in Wheelock in 1874 and is holding an event next month (June) to commemorate the important date.
The church in Crewe Road is holding a celebration service followed by afternoon tea on Sunday June 9th to celebrate the event.
