Air ambulance lands in park after reports of a collision with a bus in Sandbach

An air ambulance landed in Sandbach Park today and police were outside the park after reports of a collision in the town.

Crowds gathered on The Commons as the air ambulance landed in the park, later taking off without the casualty.

A spokesperson from Cheshire Police said: "At around 3pm today (October 25th), police were called to reports of a collision on The Commons in Sandbach.

"Officers attended and found the collision had been between a boy and a bus.

"The boy has since been taken to hospital in an ambulance. The extent of his injuries remain unknown at this time.

"Officers are still currently at the scene."
