A Sandbach opticians has officially unveiled its new state-of-the-art equipment and premises after a major refit.
And practice manager, Ravi Parmar, says the new-look premises will help to deliver a first-class service to the town's growing population.
Boots Opticians in Congleton Road was recently closed for a short period to allow building work to take place.
And today (Friday), Mayor of Sandbach, Councillor Laura Crane, officially cut the ribbon to open the new-look store.
More than £150,000 has been invested in new equipment and alterations to the branch.
A launch party was held at the store to celebrate the transformation and free cake was handed out to customers.
Branch manager, Ravi said: "As a town, Sandbach has been growing and we as a practice have been getting busier as a result.
"We were unable to accommodate the demand for the current population, hence we have needed to refurbish to increase our capacity so we can deliver eyecare in a timely manner for our patients.
"We provide NHS Eye Tests- NHS Emergency Eye Appointments and NHS Diabetic Retinopathy Screening at the practice as well as contact lens care and various other services."
