In the early hours of today, Sunday 10 May, a 46-year-old man was found collapsed on Oldfield Road, Sandbach.

He was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where he is currently receiving treatment.

It is believed that he had been seen earlier in the evening on Saturday 9 May in the Cheshire Cheese and Barchetta establishments on Crewe Road, Sandbach.
