Former One Direction star Harry Styles, who grew up near Sandbach, has won another clutch of awards.

The popular singer won Album of the Year at this year's Grammy awards in Los Angeles recently.

And it would seem the artist, who grew up in Holmes Chapel near Sandbach, is popular on both sides of the Atlantic.

For last night (Sunday) the 29-year-old walked away with a quartet of prizes at the BRIT awards 2023.

The BRIT awards are the British Phonographic Industry's annual popular music awards. Harry's prizes last night included best artist, best pop act and song of the year, for the ubiquitous and wonderful As It Was.

Harry Styles lived and grew up in Holmes Chapel and went to Hermitage Primary School before going on to Holmes Chapel Comprehensive.

Harry won the prize for best album, for his third album 'Harry's House' at the American Grammys which recognise 'outstanding' achievements in the music industry.
