Owners of the Royal Oak pub, The Brownlow Inn in Brownlow Heath near Sandbach, have revealed they hope to open in February/March following extensive renovations.

The Brownlow announced in April that they had bought the pub, which had been on the market for a while.

A spokesperson from The Brownlow said: "We are hoping to open in February/March 2026."

Workmen are currently hard at work revamping the Rode Heath pub in Sandbach Road.

A spokesperson said on their Facebook page recently: "We have started knocking things down and building them back up.

"Our condition discharge application has been submitted to the council and hopefully we will be able to replace the windows, roof tiles, and render the building.

"It's all coming together quite nicely."
