Darts players in Sandbach are staging a 12 hour marathon today (Saturday) to raise money for cancer sufferers.

A group of players at The Military Arms in Congleton Road are starting a darts marathon at 12 noon in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

A spokesperson said: "We have a lovely bunch of people that want to help in supporting Macmillan by completing a 12-hour darts marathon.

"The majority of us have, sadly, been affected or are affected by this terrible illness and we want to help in any way that we can.

"Please donate whatever you're able to via the link or QR code and come along and join us for a fantastic event."

The group have set up a JustGiving fundraising page link here which has already raised £1,201

Good luck to all the players taking part.
