A local businesswoman has explained why she's closing a popular coffee and interiors business in nearby Holmes Chapel.
Louise Metcalfe said she wants to spend more time with her family and travelling rather than working six days a week.
The 55-year-old is closing Miola in Holmes Chapel as we revealed here but is keeping her Sandbach-based cleaning business open.
Louise, who spent four months converting the former carpet shop building in Holmes chapel before opening Miola there, but Done 'N' Dusted, which she has run for 35 years, will remain open.
"I can run this business from anywhere so it will remain open," said Louise. "I have five grandchildren and I've being spreading myself too thin.
"I've loved every minute of what I've done but it's time to do other things which I've not had chance to do."
Louise opened Miola in London Road, Holmes Chapel in April 2022 as we revealed here
Louise, who lives near Swettenham, says there will be no job losses at Holmes Chapel with staff being offered work at the Sandbach Miola in Lodge Lane or at the new business opening taking over the Miola building in Holmes Chapel.
There is currently a sale at Miola in Holmes Chapel with up to 70 per cent off in readiness for the closure at the end of August.
