Cheshire's 'Mr Strictly', aka professional dancer Mark Farrugia, was right when he predicted presenter, Hamza Yassin, would win Strictly Come Dancing.

The Animal Park, Let's Go For A Walk and Countryfile host beat Molly Rainford, Fleur East and Helen Skelton with his dance partner Jowita Przystal, to win the coveted prize.

Mark Farrugia, who teaches dancing in both Sandbach and Alsager, predicted Hamza would win last night's prize.

"For me, Hamza was the best all-rounder, technically sound and quite good in all styles. For me Hamza is my winner," he told Sandbach Nub News prior to the final.

"Molly and Fleur excel in Latin more than ballroom, swing dances like the quickstep, waltz and foxtrot.

"Helen is very good at ballroom but probably the weakest at the Latin."

Maltese-born Mark, who appeared as a celebrity guest on BBC Radio 2 show with presenter Claudia Winkleman last November, added: "It always depends on the dances.

"Sometimes the show dance can make or break them."

Mark, who holds Strictly Latin Dance Fit Class/Fitsteps at Sandbach Cricket Club and Alsager Civic, as well as a host of other venues across Cheshire and Staffordshire.
