Church opens new horizons for cancer sufferers with Macmillan coffee morning

Members of a church in Sandbach enjoyed a cuppa and tea cake today (Monday) to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

New Horizons at the Unity Methodist Church in Wheelock hold a regular coffee morning and today funds raised were dedicated to Macmillan,

Organiser, Jayne Bunn, said the turnout had been good and the raffle and stalls were busy.

"We're grateful to everyone who came to support this and those who helped make it happen," she said.

Church goers baked cakes while others ran a raffle and manned stalls to sell donated items.
