A church with a big heart is relaunching its breakfast/brunch club this weekend after a 21 month break.

Members of the Church on Ettiley Heath in Sandbach were forced to close their popular breakfast event due to Covid.

But this Saturday they are putting on their aprons and rolling up their sleeves and getting back in the kitchen to deliver mouth-watering food for the local community.

The popular club takes place in Ettiley Heath Church Community Centre next door to the church on Elton Road and features in this weekend's What's On Guide here

Organiser Edna Lawton said: "Why not join us between 10am and 12 noon for a heart full English or something lighter like a bacon or sausage bap or eggs on toast?

"It's all reasonably priced and freshly made. We're looking forward to welcoming back all our regulars plus new faces too."

The church has also relaunched its weekly toddler group and renamed it 'Seedlings' after a community garden project taking place at the back of the church.

Seedlings runs between 9.30am and 11 am at Ettiley Heath Church Community Centre on Mondays and includes singing, snack and story-time.

Anyone is welcome to attend. Just go along to the community centre at 9.30 am on Mondays.
