Delays on M6 northbound after car overturned and collided with central reservation

Four fire engines from Crewe, Alsager, Sandbach and Middlewich went to a car which had collided with the central reservation on M6 northbound near Junction 17 and turned on to its roof.

The northbound carriageway was closed following the accident at 8.27 pm last night (Monday)

A spokesperson from Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters were called to reports of a car in collision with central reservation and on its roof.

"All casualties were handed to the care of ambulance crews. The northbound carriageway was closed while firefighters dealt with the incident and made the vehicle safe."
