Sandbach: Christmas Scavenger Hunt - follow the trail around town and you could win a Co-op hamper full of festive treats

Calling all youngsters and their parents and carers – take a walk around Sandbach and look for the clues in our exciting festive competition.

Sandbach Nub News and the Co-op have teamed up to offer the chance to win a Christmas hamper.

By following a Christmas trail around Sandbach, you can find the letters that spell the winning words.

From today (Monday 21 November) there will be nine Christmas stickers in shop windows around the town ready for you to find.

All you need to do is find the window stickers and note the letter next to the image on each sticker to spell the mystery words. There are nine shops taking part.

You can download https://sandbach.nub.news/uploads/christmas-scavenger-hunt-web.pdf and print off the activity sheet (pictured) from our website or pick one up from any of the shops around Sandbach with a Christmas Scavenger Hunt sticker displayed in the window.

Write the letter on each window sticker next to the matching image on the activity sheet to spell the mystery words.

Head to the centre of Sandbach and look for the window stickers to take part in the Christmas Scavenger Hunt.

Here are three clues to help you find some of the Scavenger Hunt businesses:

Take a walk through the town centre covering all the streets including Congleton Road and it will appear like MAGIC.

· All being well you will end up in this street and not in Green Street 

· This is opposite a popular place for people to park in the town

. Walk past the place where Sandbach Town Council is based and look either side

. You're right in the centre – don't slip on the cobbles!

.· Where can you sit with a coffee and look at St Mary's Church?

This is a great way to have some fun with the kids while getting your shopping done or going out for a bite to eat – and you could win a Co-op Christmas hamper full of festive treats!
