A Sandbach gardening business is celebrating its second birthday today (Tuesday) after opening in 2023.

Ben Hamilton. who runs Hamilton's Garden Services, had always wanted to run his own business and when he got the chance, he set the wheels in motion.

Now two years on, Ben, 21, who went to Sandbach School, couldn't be happier and has just landed his first contract with a lettings agency.

He said: "I left Sandbach School in 2021 with no GCSE's or any kind of qualifications. I really wasn't an academic student unfortunately.

"I was a builders labourer for three years. There were parts of the job I loved but other bits I didn't but from being a small child, I had always loved being in the outdoors, playing in the woodlands with my friends.

"At the age of 19, I decided to bite the bullet and set up my own business doing gardening which I've always loved. I was forever doubting myself because non of my friends at the time had their own business at 19 years old but something in my head kept telling me to 'just do it!"

Now Ben's business, Hamilton's Garden Services, offers a range of services from tree work to strimming, hedgework, jetwashing, turf mowing and all general garden maintenance. Their Facebook page is here
