Firefighters from three fire stations attended a blaze in a commercial building in Sandbach last night (Monday).

One engine from Sandbach, two from Middlewich and one from Crewe went to the blaze in Station Road at 9.55 pm.

A spokesperson from Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service said: "Firefighters were called to smoke coming from the building and used a hose reel and a covering jet to put the fire out before naturally ventilating the premises."
