Firefighters called to a car fire Elworth in early hours of the morning

Firefighters were called to a car fire in Elworth in the early hours of today (Saturday).

One fire engine from Sandbach fire station went to the blaze in London Road, Sandbach at 1.04 am.

A Cheshire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Firefighters used one breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish a fire involving a saloon car."
