Firefighters called to overhearted lorry brakes in Middlewich

One fire engine from Winsford went to a lorry in Middlewich today (Tuesday) after brakes had overheated.

The incident happened in Nantwich Road at 10.26 am.

A spokesperson from Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service said: "Firefighters were called to a heavy goods vehicle with overheated brakes. A hose reel jet was used to make the vehicle safe."
