Firefighters help Sandbach HGV driver with overheated brakes

Firefighters went to help a HGV driver with overheated brakes in Old Mill Road, Sandbach

.

The fire involved overheated brakes on the trailer which had been detached from the cab.

One hose reel jet was used to cool down the trailer and the axel which had detached from the cab.

A thermal imaging camera was also used to check for hot spots.
