Firefighters use hand tool to put put blaze in chimney of building in Sandbach

One fire engine from Crewe went to a fire in a disused building in Sandbach.

The incident happened at 5.09 pm in Sweettooth Lane.

A Cheshire fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "A small fire in the chimney of a disused building in Sandbach was extinguished by firefighters. The crew used a hand tool to do this."
