A former player at Sandbach Cricket Club and a former coach with the Sports Coaching Group has signed her first professional cricket contract with Lancashire Women.

Tilly, a top-order batter, was selected to represent an England Development team in a match against a West Indies XI side last year.

Now the 21-year-old who made 14 senior appearances for Lancashire during the 2025 season after signing a short-term contract has signed her first professional deal.

She said: "Signing my first full-time professional contract with Lancashire Women is something I'm incredibly proud of.

"Playing in and winning the Vitality Women's County Cup Final was a special experience, and I'm grateful for the trust the coaches and my teammates have shown in me.

"I'm excited to keep learning from my coaches and my teammates and to keep giving everything I can for this Club."

As a youngster, she played at Sandbach Cricket Club in Hind Heath Road and Porthill Cricket Club and has also worked for Middlewich-based Sports Coaching Group in the past.

Now she's looking forward to the 2026 cricket season after signing the contract with Lancashire Cricket Club.

Director of Women's Cricket at Lancashire Cricket Club David Thorley, said: "Tilly has worked incredibly hard from Academy level through to senior cricket and continues to show real maturity in her game.

"Her performance in the County Cup Final was a clear example of her temperament and potential in such an important game for the Club.

"This contract is thoroughly deserved, and we're excited to support her next steps as she continues to develop as a professional cricketer."

Good luck Tilly for the forthcoming season!
