A former Sandbach town centre pub which has been closed for a while has been sold.

A sold sign has gone up on the former Ring 'O' Bells pub on the corner of Welles Street and Cross Street.

The property was on the market with chartered surveyors, Louis Taylor, with a price tag of £200,000.

The 1,480 sq ft property is described as a "rare opportunity for a buyer/tenant who may wish to re-open as a bar/restaurant or re-develop the site for alternative uses."

It's described as: "A large end terraced two storey building of brick wall construction under a pitched slate covered roof.

"Formerly trading as the Ring 'O Bells Public House and benefitting from substantial living accommodation above."
