Detectives investigating a series of burglaries in Cheshire have charged four men in connection with the incidents.

On Thursday 26 September a team of officers from Cheshire Police and Greater Manchester Police executed warrants at three addresses in Manchester and Ashton-under-Lyne, leading to the arrest of three men.

A fourth man was arrested at HMP Berwyn and taken into police custody.

Following questioning the following four men have been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary and conspiracy to steal motor vehicles.

  • Brandon Day, aged 20, of Longton Road, Manchester
  • Aaron Gee, aged 20, of Victoria Avenue East, Manchester
  • Joshua Irving, aged 21, of HMP Berwyn
  • Mason Kenny, aged 18, of Lodge Street, Ashton-under-Lyne

The charges relate to 14 burglaries (13 in Warrington and one in Middlewich) which occurred between 5 February and 20 April 2024. Eight vehicles were stolen during the incidents.

All four men have been remanded in police custody and are set to appear at Chester Magistrates' Court on Friday 27 September.
