A new Mediterranean inspired restaurant and lunch venue is opening in Sandbach.

Kiki's Table is opening in Congleton Road in the former Cheshire Pie Company shop which closed last month (May).

And owner, Greek-born Kiki Tsilidou, has pledged to bring a touch of Manchester and a new twist to the town's eating out offering.

Mother-of-two Kiki has worked in the catering business for around 25 years and has always wanted to open her own restaurant.

Kiki's Table will serve a range of fresh food with a chilled atmosphere and relaxing music.

"I'm Greek and love food and cooking. We'll be offering a range of things on our menu including brunch with a Mediterranean/French/Greek twist," said Kiki originally from Thessaloniki.

Kiki has built up years of experience in the catering industry, moving from Urmston in Manchester to Sandbach around three years ago.

She has worked at Cranage Hall in Cranage and partner Ben Carr will be supporting her in the background.

She said: "To begin with we'll be offering brunch and lunch but in the long term we hope to offer tasting menus. I've chosen a colour scheme for the building which has a botantical feel to bring nature inside.

"I want to provide a place where customers can come and relax in chilled surroundings."

Kiki says she loves Sandbach and all it has to offer. She plans to open Kiki's Table from 9.30 am until 5 pm Wednesday - Sunday.

"It's a beautiful place with so much to offer. I've been looking for a place to open a business for a while and this building came up. I can't wait to open and get started," she added.

Sandbach Nub News wishes Kiki all the best with her new venture and looks forward to visiting!
