This role for is for a bookkeeper with a salary of £30,000 - £35,000 a year.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading company in the construction and civil engineering industry.

The company, based near Alsager, is seeking a highly organised and experienced construction bookkeeper who can ensure budgets, timelines and job costs are accurate.

Key duties include processing payments, preparing financial statements, paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances.

Other duties include verifying the accuracy of business accounts, recording any inconsistencies to help the accountants reconcile inaccuracies, preparing employee wages and managing expense claims.

The ideal candidate will have two years plus experience working within the construction industry with knowledge/experience of CIS and Zero VAT charge.

Accounting systems Sage and Xero would be highly advantageous.
