Sandbach Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club at the Military Arms in Congleton Road had a special visitor today (Saturday) - local MP, Sarah Russell.

The Congleton MP, whose constituency includes Sandbach, dropped into the monthly event to chat to veterans and othe rmembers of the Armed Forces.

And it was a poignant visit for today (Saturday) as June 28th is Armed Forces Day 2025 - a year which marks the 80th anniversaries of Victory in Europe (VE) and Victory over Japan (VJ), 

Sarah said: "The Breakfast Clubs are an important part of the community and we're hugely grateful for the service that these men and women have given to their country.

"It was a privilege to meet so many and to celebrate the day with them."

The Sandbach Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club holds a monthly Saturday meeting at The Military Arms on Congleton Road, commencing at 9am with breakfast available from 9.30am.

All Serving and Veteran members of the Armed Forces, and their families, are welcome to attend. The datrs for the rest of the year are:
