Man in hospital following crash on bypass near Sandbach

A man has been taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries, following a serious two-vehicle crash near Crewe.
On Thursday 8 May, emergency services were alerted to an incident on the A534 Haslington Bypass, near to the junction with Clay Lane, Haslington.
At 4.40pm, Cheshire Police and North West Ambulance Service arrived at the scene, discovering a collision between a car and a van.

A number of other vehicles were also damaged as a result of the collision..
A man was injured in the crash and taken to Royal Stoke Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.
Officers closed the bypass between Wheelock Roundabout and Crewe Green Roundabout until the scene was cleared.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 4.40pm on Thursday 8 May, police were called to reports of a collision on the A534 Haslington Bypass, near to the junction of Clay Lane.
"Officers attended and found there had been a collision between two vehicles, a car and a van.

"A number of other vehicles were also damaged as a result of the collision.
"One person, a man, was injured as a result of the collision, they were taken to Royal Stoke Hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life changing."
