A new 850-capacity live music venue is planned to open in Crewe next year - following an announcement on social media.

The International live music venue, events space and bar is expected to open in Crewe for May 2023.

It is being run by 'leading' event management company, Music Is Now - based on the North Wales/England border.

The venue will be located a 10-minute walk from Crewe Railway Station.

An Instagram page theintercrewe was set up last week (November 11) - confirming the news.

A spokesperson told Nub News: "We're just a 10-minute walk from Crewe train station.

"More information will be revealed soon and once tickets go on sale for events."

Back in August, a member of Music Is Now posted on social media - calling for live music acts.

Dan Read said: "Hi all. We're looking for local acts, originals and covers for a new 850-capacity venue opening in Crewe in 2023.

"If you're interested in performing there please email all of act's details to [email protected]."

On Saturday (November 12), Mr Read made an update on social media, saying: "Crewe's newest live music venue opening May 2023."

The International's exact location in Crewe is yet to be revealed (The International).
