· Be a reliable team player with a positive attitude

Right at Home South & Mid Cheshire covers the following areas: Sandbach, Alsager, Kidsgrove, Congleton, Middlewich, Crewe, Nantwich, Shavington, Wrenbury, Willaston, Wistaston, Northwich and Winsford.

Candidates should be living within a ten mile radius of any of the above mentioned areas in order to apply for the role.

Stock controller/yards person/FLT

Sandbach-based, a stock Controller/yards person with counterbalance FLT experience is required. Day shifts, Monday - Friday.

If you are looking for a varied role that utilises your organisational skills with hands-on work, we have a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity to join our client's team.

As a Stock Controller/Yards person, you will play a crucial role in their operations, your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating a Counterbalance FLT: To move goods around the yard efficiently and safely.
  • Stock Management: Using your strong computer skills to book goods in and out and maintain accurate stock control.
  • Vehicle Movement: You'll assist in moving vans and other vehicles around the site.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience operating a Counterbalance FLT - must hold a certificate.
  • A clean UK Driving License
  • Strong computer literacy, particularly in stock management systems.
  • A proactive attitude and a team player mentality.

Press brake operators

Do you have Press Brake experience and are you seeking a new permanent job role within the Cheshire area?! If so get in touch with as we are recruiting several Press Brake Operators on a permanent contract.

The role is Sandbach-based and has a 40,000 annual salary depending on the hours/shift pattern you choose to work, but this business also offers a £2,000 signing bonus (staggered payment) and regular overtime opportunities paid at T1/3 after 39 hours, and T1/2 after 48 hours.

We are looking for Press Brake Operators who have experience with either AMADA, TRUMPF, Bystronic or Edward Pearson machines and we have several opportunities on the following shift pattern:

  • Day shifts Monday to Friday (39 hours per week)
  • Permanent morning shifts Monday to Friday (38 hours per week)
  • Permanent afternoon shifts Monday to Friday (38 hours per week)
  • Permanent night shifts Sunday to Thursday (40 hours per week)

Everyone will initially start on day shifts whilst training, but you will have the opportunity to move onto shifts once you've passed a probation period.

What You Will Do:

  • Set up and operate press machines with precision.
  • Execute bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches.
  • Produce parts for assembly operations, ensuring high-quality output.
  • Interpret technical drawings to meet specification requirements.
  • Conduct quality checks on produced work to maintain the highest standards.
  • Work across various shifts, adapting to the company's dynamic production schedules.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role within the engineering sector.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

HR Advisor

 An agricultural services business based in the Middlewich area is looking for an HR Advisor. In this key role you will provide essential administration support across various HR functions ensuring the HR processes runs smoothly.

Reporting to the General Manager;

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll support: Work with the payroll provider to ensure accurate and timely information is delivered in accordance with the timetable to ensure employees receive pay on time.

HR Advisory: Assisting in all HR queries and lease between internal and external bodies to resolve all matters promptly. To provide advice and guidance to managers on HR matters with a focus on gaining the best outcomes for both the business and the colleague.

Manage a portfolio of cases, scheduling and prioritising activities based on the needs of each case and applicable deadlines or timescales.

HR Administration: Manage and maintain accurate employee records, including contracts, personal files and HR databases.

Manage a portfolio of cases, scheduling and prioritising activities based on the needs of each case and applicable deadlines or timescales in line with guidelines from an external body

Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing offer letters, contracts, and induction schedules.

Compliance: Ensure all HR activities comply with employment laws and company policies.

HR Reporting: Prepare HR reports and metrics as needed, supporting the business in data-driven decision making.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Ideally CIPD qualified or equivalent
  • Previous experience in an HR administration role
  • Experience of applying a commercial and pragmatic approach to providing HR risk-based solutions to difficult issues that arise within challenging situations.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

A school in Sandbach is looking to recruit a Senior Children's Occupational Therapist to join an exciting team with new opportunities.

The client offers a full-time contract with an opportunity to work from home, a fair and manageable caseload and further training in your portfolio. The vacancy will be for an initial 3 - 6 months with potential for extension.

Main Duties for the Children's Occupational Therapist includes.

  • An awareness of the importance of safeguarding vulnerable people, plus an understanding of the importance of dignity & respect when dealing with people.

To Be Successful.

  • Previous experience working as an Children's Occupational Therapist.
  • Must have experience in a school setting.
  • The candidate must have experience in training carers/families.
  • Must be able to hit the ground running and doesn't need upskilling.
  • HCPC Registration.
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you).
