Looking for somewhere peaceful to go this weekend? Sandbach Nub News reader Ingrid Victor found exactly that on a visit to Lovell Quinta Arboretum.

The stunning 28 acre site in Swettenham has created a "Silent Space" where you are encouraged to switch of your mobile phones and listen to nature.

Visitors are encouraged to: "Enjoy the sounds of birdsong and nature in the peaceful setting".

Avid photographer and bottle artist in her spare time Ingrid says she found the silent space, part of a national project "very cathartic".

The silent space is part of a national initiative designed to encourage quiet reflection and appreciation of nature and is open until the end of November.

Quinta Arboretum was created by Sir Bernard Lovell, best known for his telescope at nearby Jodrell Bank and his work with radar.
