One person taken to hospital following road accident on busy Sandbach junction

One person was taken to hospital as a precaution and police were called following a collision between two cars in Sandbach.
The accident was near the La Maternelle nursery on Middlewich Road near the junction of Abbey Road and Middlewich Road yesterday (Monday).

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "At 2.30pm on Monday, January 16th, police were called to reports of a collision on Abbey Road, Sandbach.
"Officers attended and found the incident involved a white Nissan Juke and a white Fiat 500.
"The driver of the Nissan was taken to hospital as a precaution, although there are no reports of any serious injuries."
