One person trapped following two-vehicle crash near Sandbach

Firefighters had to help one person who was trapped following a two-vehicle accident near Sandbach.

One fire engine from Northwich and a rapid response unit from Middlewich went to the accident in Knutsford Road, Cranage.

The accident happened at 4.17 pm yesterday (Tuesday).

A Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: "A road traffic collision involving two cars required firefighters to help one person who was physically and medically trapped."
