Plan to turn former milk parlour near Sandbach into a play barn for dogs

A former milk parlour at a farm near Sandbach could soon be transformed into a play barn for dogs.
Cassie Wood has applied to Cheshire East Council for permission to change the use of the building at Bank Farm, Hassall Moss to an indoor and outdoor all-weather dog play barn for private hire.
The applicant says there will be no structural changes made to buildings or premises, merely cosmetic and additions to fixtures and fittings.
Provision for car parking is available in the existing yard alongside the outer wall of the parlour.
A business case submitted by the applicant states: "This innovative venture is designed to meet the growing demand for safe, enriching and professionally managed spaces for dogs of all sizes and breeds, providing a service that stands out from traditional offerings in the pet care industry.
"This facility is owned and operated by Cassie Wood, a qualified canine behaviourist and trainer whose expertise ensures every aspect of the business is thoughtfully crafted to prioritise the physical, mental and social wellbeing of dogs."
It says Woodie's Woofers focuses on providing a variety of enrichment opportunities for dogs including interactive play zones, which are safe and structured spaces for physical activity; mental enrichment activities including puzzle games and sensory exploration as well as agility and training zones.
The application, number 25/1714/FUL, can be viewed on the planning portal on Cheshire East Council's website.
The last date for comments is July 23.
