Motorists on a Sandbach road faced some disruption yesterday (Tuesday) after a two-vehicle accident.

Police say they were called to the accident in Abbey Road at 6.10 pm last night (April 18th).

A spokesperson from Cheshire Police said: "The collision involved a BMW and a Honda.

"Initial reports were that one person may have been injured, but there were no apparent injuries subsequently reported.

"Both cars, which had been blocking the road, were removed from the scene."
