Police appeal for information following a burglary on outskirts of Sandbach

Police are appealing for witnesses and they are also urging residents to step up security following a burglary at an address in Hassall.

They say they were called to reports of a burglary in Alsager Road, Hassall.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "The caller reported that sometime between 12am on Friday 28 August and 3pm on Monday 31 August, unknown offenders gained entry into the address and stole a red Ford Focus which was parked outside the address.

"Anyone with any information is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101, or visit www.cheshire.police.uk/tell-us, quoting IML 2408083."

Police are urging people to review home security.
