Police charge man, 23, with drink driving following collision near canal

Police have charged a man with drink driving following a one-vehicle collision near the canal in Moston.

A Cheshire police spokesperson said: "Billy Cooper, 23, of Bradwell Grove, Congleton was charged with drink-driving.

"He was bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on 23 March."

Police were called to a canal bridge in Hall Lane, Moston near Sandbach at 8.12pm on March 1st.
