No arrrests made after alleged disturbance in Sandbach pub

Police today confirmed they were called to reports of an alleged disturbance in a Sandbach pub yesterday afternoon. (Wednesday)

Passers-by on Social Media reported seeing several police cars rush to The George in High Street just after 4.30 pm yesterday.

But no arrests were made and the police cars left after finding no offences had been disclosed.

A Cheshire Constabulary spokesperson said: "At around 4.37pm on Wednesday police were called to reports of a disturbance at a public house on High Street, Sandbach.

"Officers attended the scene and found no offences were disclosed and no arrests were made."
