Police received reports last night of a naked man on the canal towpath in Wheelock.

A spokesperson from Cheshire Police said: "Ay 9.20pm on Thursday (24th July), police received an online report of a naked man in Sandbach.

"The caller reported that at 7.10pm that today (24 July) they had seen a naked man hiding in bushes near to the Trent and Mersey canal.

"There have been no reports of any similar incidents."
