A Sandbach takeaway restaurant which has been closed for over a month for a revamp is reopening tomorrow – much to the delight of customers.

The popular Shaz Balti in Welles Street closed on January 5th but the owners say it will be reopening on Friday, February 18th.

The family-run business was set up by Shazlu Miah with his father and brother.

Sandbach Nub News told how here. the popular eaterie celebrated its first birthday in November.

The takeaway told customers on their Facebook page that "we have had few delays with our new equipment being installed/checked but we will be back open on February 18th.

"Hope you haven't missed us too much and hope everyone had an amazing Valentines weekend."

Shazlu Miah told Nub News: We have had a few things updated including the kitchen.

"We have given my dad a bit of a break but he's now rest and we are back open tomorrow."

The business offers a street food menu – claiming to put the "bang" into Bangladesh.
