Preparations in full swing for village's annual fundraising event near Sandbach

A village near Sandbach is gearing up for its annual fundraising event which draws visitors from far and wide.

Warmingham Wakes takes place on Saturday, May 13th and final preparations are in full swing for the event.

There will be a children's fancy dress competition. Children are invited to compete for the Beryl Buckley Cup and other prizes.

And dogs aren't forgotten. There will be a fun dog show on the church field with registration on the day. Classes start at 1.45 pm. Entry is £3 per class lor £5 for two classes.

There will also be a tombola and a children's chocolate tombola as well as books and jigsaws for sale.

Warmingham Wakes takes place from 1.30 pm on May 13th. See you there!
