A top-class restaurant near Sandbach is celebrating - after it retained its prestigious AA Rosette.

Pecks in Newcastle Road, Brownlow Heath, has once again been awarded the AA Rosette for its "outstanding commitment to culinary excellence".

The restaurant is part of Pear Hospitality, who also own The Wheatsheaf in Sandbach, the Blue Bell Inn at Smallwood and The Lion and Swan in Congleton.

A spokesperson for Pecks said the award reflected its "commitment to providing unforgettable moments and flavours that linger on the palate".

They added: "We are thrilled and honoured to announce that Pecks has received this year's AA Rosette for its outstanding commitment to culinary excellence!

"We are proud to be recognized among the finest establishments in the culinary world.

"Pecks has held a Rosette for many years, so we are proud to continue the success. This prestigious recognition is a testament to the hard work, creativity, and dedication of our talented chefs and the entire Pecks team.

"We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our guests for their continued support. It's their enthusiasm for exceptional dining experiences that inspires us to reach new heights.

"To our chefs, kitchen staff, front of house team, and all who contribute to the magic that happens at Pecks, this achievement is a shared success."

The AA Rosette award was first awarded in 1956 and was the first nationwide scheme for assessing the quality of food served by restaurants and hotels.

Rosettes are awarded annually on a rising scale based on a meal visit by one or more of their inspectors.
