Two men from Sandbach have been arrested by police on suspicion of harassment.

The men - who have not been identified - were arrested yesterday (Wednesday, February 2).

It is believed they were taken to the Cheshire Police Middlewich Custody Suite, in Middlewich, for questioning.

A police spokesman told Sandbach Nub News: "A 51-year-old man and 52-year-old man, both from Sandbach, have been arrested on suspicion of harassment.

"Both men have been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries."

Police have declined to release any more details.

However, during the last two years there have been a number of complaints to Cheshire Police and Cheshire East Council, from people in Sandbach, alleging online harassment.
