Artisan bakehouse and coffee house shortlisted for prestigious garden landscaping award
By The Editor 1st Jun 2026
Bradwall Breadhouse has been shortlisted in the 2026 Professional Landscapers' National Awards in the category of Sustainable Garden Under £50,000.
This recognises the business's commitment to creating a beautiful, biodiverse outdoor space that reflects its food philosophy and rural setting.
The awards, organised by Pro Landscaper Project Awards, celebrate outstanding landscaping projects from across the UK, recognising innovation, craftsmanship and sustainability in garden design.
The Bradwall Breadhouse garden was designed and created by Olive Tree Landscaping Services and has the outdoor areas surrounding the Cheshire artisan bakehouse and coffee house.
They are now a tranquil, nature-led environment, featuring wildflower planting, pollinator-friendly landscaping and natural materials and have become an integral part of the visitor experience at the Breadhouse.
Located just outside Sandbach at Bradwall, Bradwall Breadhouse has built its reputation on producing handmade artisan breads using simple, high-quality ingredients and traditional methods.
The garden project was designed to mirror these same values - sustainability, simplicity and a connection to nature.
Fiona Barlow, Founder and Director of Bradwall Breadhouse, said: " We're absolutely thrilled that the garden has been recognised nationally.
"From day one, we wanted the outdoor space to really reflect what Bradwall Breadhouse is all about keeping things simple, sustainable and creating something special using natural ingredients and materials.
"In the same way we believe great bread comes from honest ingredients and proper craftsmanship, we wanted the garden to feel relaxed and connected to nature.
"It's beome such a big part of the experience for people visiting us, and we're really proud of what's been created here."
Bradwall Breadhouse opened its coffee house in 2025 alongside its artisan bakehouse and bread shop, welcoming visitors to enjoy locally made breads, speciality coffee and rural Cheshire hospitality in a countryside setting.
