And the 25-year-old, who studied theology at Durham University and danced with the Cheshire Youth Ballet in her youth, is ready to write the sequel to the novel and then turn it into a triology.

Niamh, of Oakley Close, Sandbach, did a PGCE at Staffordshire University worked at Elworth Church of England School before deciding she wanted to be an author.

"I've always loved books," said Niamh who started doing the research for her first novel during COVID days. "I have so many books I've invested in a Kindle as I just don't have room for any more."

The book has been published by Amazon who say "magic, grand heists, and overly protective shadows, take centre stage in this new tale of hope and vengeance.

"When swords clash and poison spills, will a coven born from darkness and a forest more alive than anybody is comfortable with be enough to force fate's hand?"

Niamh started writing the novel in the summer of 2022, taking two months to plan the intricate plot which features ballet-type scenes in a forest giving a nod to her favourite ballet - 'Giselle'.

Ballet is very much in her family as Niamh's older brother, Ben, is a professional dancer with the Scottish Ballet. Both siblings did ballet in their younger days.

"I've alway loved ballet and theology, the latter which I read at university. The book does have bits of both in it and features the forest, leaves, snakes and shadows. A lot of it is in set in a forest with a witches' coven."

In total, the novel features around 120,000 words and has been published both as an E-book link here and in paperback available here

"I do carry a notebook with me in case I come up with an idea or think of a new story line," said Niamh. "I just love writing."
