A Sandbach business has celebrated its first birthday and has thanked customers for their support.

Steph Hammond opened Barberelle barber's shop in Congleton Road a year ago last week.

And she has thanked customers for their support during the first year of the business.

Steph said on Social Media: "What a year it's been. I am totally overwhelmed by the support I've received from customers to local businesses and beyond.

"Here's to the next year. Thank you."

Steph, who has been cutting hair since she was aged 17, told Sandbach Nub News previously: "I want people to come in and feel comfortable here – it's like an extension of my home.

"I hope my customers become my friends. It's important that people feel welcome and enjoy the experience.

"I try and remember if I have cut their hair before and how they like it done. It's just so amazing opening here – something I've always wanted to do."

Sandbach Nub News wishes Steph all the best for her second year in business in Sandbach.
